The Senate Forum offers clinicians and patients a space to debate ideas, find agreement as a group on issues and build consensus on important issues relating to the long-term goals of the health service and how it will achieve them.

The Clinical Senate Forum brings together a broad and diverse multi-professional group of senior health professionals and includes patients, public health, social care and professional bodies.

The Forum is co-chaired by London Region’s Medical Director and London Region’s Chief Nurse.

It maintains a broad perspective, including on all elements of patient pathways primary, community and acute and specialist care, mental health, public health and social care. Forums identify opportunities for, and support, improvement. They enable clinical leaders to be kept up to date on developments and provides a virtual and face-to-face networking opportunity to build links within the clinical community and share best practice. Forum meetings are held throughout the year.
