Tim is a Consultant Paramedic with the London Ambulance Service NHS Trust and Visiting Lecturer at the University of Hertfordshire.
Tim joined the London Ambulance Service in 1997, qualifying as a paramedic in 2000. He has undertaken various roles in out-of-hospital, hospital and educational settings, including working as a flight paramedic, senior lecturer, and advanced paramedic practitioner.
He reamins active in the four key domains of the allied health professions consultant role, namely clinical practice, leadership, education and research, and has recently submitted a PhD thesis investigating pre hospital airway management in cardiac arrest. He is an examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh) diploma and fellowship examinations in immediate medical care and was a committee member for the recent NICE Emergency and Acute Medical Care service delivery and organisation guideline.
Tim joined hte London Clinical Senate in May 2017.
